Tips to Take Care of Digital Camera

Digital cameras as well as other consumer electronic goods, requires extra care. They have sensitive components that can be easily damaged if we are careless.
Here are some digital camera tips to make it more durable:

1. Camera Body.
Clean the outside of the body with a soft cloth, use a blower to remove dust from corners. Start cleaning the inside using blower, then use blower brush for stubborn dirt, lock up mirror if you want to blow sensor part.
I do not recommend you to clean yourself if there is stubborn dirt on the camera sensor, because the sensor is a very sensitive.

2. Lens.
Do not touch the optical lens with a finger, always plug the protector filter or use a lens hood. Always close the lens cap when not in use to reduce the risk of dust sticking. If you want to clean the lens, use a blower first, then lens brush, and lens cloth if attached fingerprints.

3. The battery.
Do not charge the battery excessively. Immediately unplug when full, release the battery from the camera when not in use. Try to only wear original battery.

4. Memory Cards.
Make habit to store the memory card inside the casing to avoid dust and exposed objects with magnetic fields. It will extend the life of the memory card.

5. Camera storage.
If you have more funds, it can be considered to have Drybox that uses moisture-regulating device as a storage.
Store your camera in a plastic clip that was given air-silica gel, keep it in a dry place and away from magnetic objects.
